ABOUT THE PROJECT
A soulful café identity inspired by sunrise, stories, and the spirit of Mathura
Tea N Tales was envisioned as a neighborhood café where friends gather, conversations flow naturally, and time feels unhurried. While tea remains the heart of the offering, the true experience lies in the atmosphere — a place to sit, relax, reflect, and feel at home.
The challenge was to create a brand identity that feels emotional, welcoming, and deeply connected to Mathura’s cultural warmth.
UNDERSTANDING THE VISION
The foundation of the brand was built on three core ideas:

Tea N Tales needed to feel familiar yet special — not loud or commercial, but calm, soulful, and inviting.
THE HEART OF THE BRAND
Tea N Tales is about:
Early mornings and soft sunrises
Long conversations over endless cups
A space where strangers become friends
A café that feels like an extension of home
This emotional direction guided every design decision.
EXPLORING LEGAL SYMBOLISM
To translate the feeling into form, multiple symbolic directions were explored:
Cup of tea → comfort, warmth, pause
Sunrise → new beginnings, hope, calm mornings
Flowing steam → stories, conversations, life in motion
The goal was to keep the visuals simple, meaningful, and instantly relatable.
ROOTED IN MATHURA
Mathura’s spiritual calm, cultural depth, and gentle pace influenced the identity subtly rather than literally.
Design explorations reflected:
Soft, earthy tones inspired by mornings in Mathura
A peaceful rhythm rather than bold city energy
An emotional connection instead of decorative symbolism
The brand feels local, honest, and grounded — never generic.
The logo and identity focus on emotional comfort rather than sharp branding.
Key visual principles:
Rounded forms for friendliness
Balanced composition for calm
Warm color palette for approachability
Minimal yet expressive detailing
Every element was designed to make people feel welcome.
FINAL LOGO DIRECTION
Sunrise meets a cup of tea
The final logo brings together a rising sun and a tea cup, symbolizing the beginning of conversations, peaceful mornings, and shared moments. The sunrise represents hope and warmth, while the cup anchors the brand in its core offering — tea as a medium of connection.
The mark feels gentle, memorable, and emotionally rich, perfectly reflecting Tea N Tales’ purpose.
